About Tech Terra Environmental
Barry Draycott is the owner of Tech Terra Environmental (TTE) founded in 2005. His career however in the green industry began in 1977 as a pesticide applicator for a tree care company in NJ. For decades Barry looked for ways to improve plant vigor and reduce pesticide usage. This led him to scientific research, which demonstrated the positive impact improving soil health has on plant vigor.
This new direction prompted the trial and error process of locating natural products for the tree and lawn care industry that were cost effective and provided positive results for TTE’s clients. Once this was accomplished, Draycott realized Tech Terra Organics could be of service to the green industry by becoming a single source for a wide range of natural products at manufacturer prices that would meet the needs of landscapers and lawn care providers.
As we enter into a new decade, all of us here at Tech Terra Environmental have been reflecting on how far we have come gaining strides in this industry and are more focused than ever before. All of this combined with positive hope that your business will flourish in a healthier environment!
Year of Renewal
Barry is making 2020 his “Year of Renewal.” This means that he is recommitted to the company’s #1 goal, which is providing landscapers, schools and now the agricultural industry with the knowledge, & products that will help your business grow while protecting our environment and our health.
In order to succeed, Barry will continue to search for new products which meet our highest of standards. For starters, he is adding a living and spore-forming microbial inoculant consortium naturally fermented with humic and fulvic acids to improve soil and plant health. And two new pollenator friendly insecticides to control Grubs and Adult Beetles.
We encourage all of you to stay connected with us by attending our talks/classes/seminars, visiting our trade show booths and reading our emails. We can only hope this will also increase your bottom line while allowing you to make ecologically sound decisions.

Please consider the Four Laws of Ecology
When making business decisions and When applying product
- Everything is connected to everything else. There is one ecosphere for all living organisms and what affects one, affects all.
- Everything must go somewhere. There is no “waste” in nature and there is no “away” to which things can be thrown.
- Nature knows best. Humankind has fashioned technology to improve upon nature, but such change in a natural system is “likely to be detrimental to that system.”
- There is no such thing as a free lunch. Exploitation of nature will inevitably involve the conversion of resources from useful to useless forms.
